Forgetfulness in Children

Many of our children suffer from forgetfulness, which negatively affects their educational and academic performance. However, there are causes behind this problem; if we recognize and understand them, we will be able to solve it.

Causes of forgetfulness in children:

  • Lack of focus: During studying or due to the similarity of information.

  • Malnutrition: A deficiency in Omega-3, iron, potassium, sulfur, phosphorus, salts, and vitamins such as A, B, and E.

  • Obesity.

  • Excessive television watching.

  • Lack of security and trust: Feeling anxious or not trusting those around them.

  • Brain injuries and tumors: Which may cause memory weakness and forgetfulness.

  • Rote memorization: Depending on memorizing without understanding during study.

  • Physical illness: Suffering from conditions such as colds, high fever, colic, and headaches.

  • Hunger and physical exhaustion.
