Aggression in Children

Violent and aggressive behavior in children stems from underlying causes that drive them toward these actions. We must understand these causes to effectively handle such behavior.

Causes of aggression in children:

  2. Restricting the child’s freedom to express their opinions and inner needs.

  3. Failure to satisfy the child’s basic needs.

  4. Watching cartoons or media that contain violent content.

  5. Parents modeling aggressive behavior or practicing violence against the child.

  6. Hostile school environments or negative social interactions with peers.

  7. Lack of comfort, safety, and internal stability.

  8. Feelings of frustration, tension, and constant pressure.

  9. Poor internal psychological adjustment within the child.
