8 Steps for Healing from Negative Emotions

Everyone goes through negative emotions and hurtful situations and must learn how to overcome and heal from them in the best way possible. There are 8 steps a person can take:

1- Acknowledging negative emotions, accepting them, and not denying them.

2- Identifying the type of feelings: Is it regret, blame, anxiety, sadness…

3- Searching for the meaning of these feelings and their positive message to you.

4- Seeking support from a friend, relative, teacher, doctor…

5- Taking responsibility for my life and refusing to play the victim role.

6- Speaking to yourself kindly, positively, and compassionately.

7- Moving forward, going out, and meeting new people and experiencing new situations.

8- Repairing your relationship with God and reviewing your faith in the Creator.
